Getting started on a show can be exciting and nerve wracking. There is so much to do, and a show can feel like a giant blank canvas- and we all know how difficult it can be to start on a blank canvas! But really, the more an artist practices, the easier it can become. I start by gathering my panels and colors, and then I just start in. What I neglect to mention in my podcast is that it is crucial that an artist does not procrastinate. Getting to work early makes working much more enjoyable, and there is time to change the work and grow as an artist. And growing as an artist is my biggest reason for taking on a show.

I hope that this helps you to follow along with my process!

Happy painting,

Liese
