How my Work is Like You.

Some days I’ve had enough of the news, the stories, the messages telling me who to be. I’m complex. I’m a contradiction, and I get to decide. You do too.  

This is what I am telling you with my work. My painting has movement and energy, but also quiet space and structure. It has crazy color and muted grays. Just like you. 

These components are intermeshed and messy, or separate and alone- but they are always bold and unapologetic. (And thoughtful and reflective...)

There are few things that really define us because we are so layered and complex. My work is like that. It is a reminder for you. It is all right there in pigment and paper. Do you see it?
